Melanna concept art
Melanna concept art by @Navi1101 (Navi 1101)

Concept art of my old Druid char Melanna Hinilokë and her animal companion, Rufus the dire piglet (didn't have the levels for a dire boar yet, so the GM and I compromised). Her bloodline is a mess: 17/32 elf, 5/8 human, 1/4 copper dragon, 1/32 black dragon, and 1/32 satyr. I miss playing her. :(

Melanna grew up in Ardor, a continent in the world of Espera that's sort of like a magically shielded game preserve. Not many Ardorans know about this, but once Melanna found out she decided she liked the idea and thought she could do more good spreading the idea a little beyond Ardor's borders. She left home at a relatively early age and moved to a nearby island, where she studied the Druidic arts and eventually became the island's matriarch. Nowadays, Melanna is a very old woman, and she's guided her island in a great transformation from scattered cities in chaotic wilderness to beautifully-kept gardens and tree-homes from coast to coast. The party in our current campaign, which takes place about 450 years after I came up with Melanna's char, is going to meet her this Friday. ^^
