Summers
Summers by @migucast (Miguel Castaneda)

I've had this idea in my head since my last Earthbound picture but it took until now to do it because I just wasn't in the mood to draw EB for a long, long time. Brawl changed that. I'm hoping the Mother 1 and 3 will find their way to US Shores now the same way that Fire Emblem followed Melee here.

Anyway, moving on to the picture... YES, I screwed up the angle. I know. It wouldn't actually look that elevated from where Ness and Paula are standing. I spent 3-4 hours drawing that background before I realized it was wrong. At that point, I didn't want to go back so... You're stuck with it. XD Drawn as close as possible to the actual game sprites, with some filters here and there.

I know it's unusual to see a girl so covered in one of my pictures, buuuuuuut... Unless I could come up with a scandalously cute 2-piece for Paula, it just wouldn't look right on her so I went with a 1-piece. But then... I still didn't want it to be boring. So I went a gaudy race queen type thing with the EB Logo plastered on her.

Then there's poor Jeff... You see him crying, right? Banging on the Sky Runner's hull in frustration? I need to do a follow up on that either in GR or in a picture. I can see it now... Jeff FINALLY fixes it and everyone ready to continue on to Scaraba but... Before they can leave... The Clefairy STEAL it!! Leaving poor Jeff running behind the theiving Pokemon! XD Yes, I was ENDLESSLY amused at how they used the Sky Runner in the Pokemon anime and manga way back then! XD

Will there be another EB picture before long? I don't know. We'll see. >_>
