This image was drawn after re-reading a rewritten story. The Dark Emerald is taking posession of Sonic The Hedgehog. I think this line'll best describe:

Before even Sonic could escape did he feel a tendril leech from an unknown source around his leg and tighten it's grip, again the painfully icy touch overcame his senses... The blue hedgehog reached a shaking hand to his leg and attempted to grab the thing that held him. His hand sinking into a thick, sticky black mass which snared him, coming to life and snaking up his arm. He screamed, no longer feeling the pain but instead a terror he had not felt since the day Robotnik had taken control. It covered his apanages and moved along him, smoothly and quietly, injecting it's drug of evil.
