Scout is, more or less, an ordinary-looking male Eastern Timber Wolf with a tragic past. At a very young age, his mother and father were killed by a maurading black bear. Sometime after the death of King Nuvaku, Nuntayak found him cowering in the den, and she took him in and raised him, just like Nuvaku did when she was orphaned.

Even now, Scout has a strong dislike of bears. He even strongly dislikes Comache, and feels that no bear should live in the Havenlands. This is rather unfortunate, as Comache has tried many times to make him believe that not every bear was bad as the one that had killed his family.

Scout joined the Royal Guards of His Majesty's Kingdom, and often spends his time patroling the land for unwanted intruders. He is friendly but somewhat reserved in personality.
