Ex Libris
Ex Libris by @deaddays (John Rios)

An assignment for class. EX LIBRIS means "from the library of." This is supposed to be kind of like a seal. Anyhoo, I really like how the inking turned out. I'm emulating a french art nouveau artist I love called Alphonse Mucha. He's great. I'm going to color this shortly, so stay tuned if you wanna see what THAT looks like... Alphonse Mucha was the MAN... he was like... the original fantasy artist. Whats even cooler was that he started out dirt cheap poor. ^^

Great look to it, I like the detail around the letters. Very Mucha-like. =) Yay!

Mucha is godly. I love his "Cycles Perfecta", that would be my favorite.

Great job here. Your classes have great assignments. Nice touch with the weighted lines near the pencil. Wowza.
