@Agondray: Honestly didn't go anywhere so it had to be cancelled, but did give away the character design to someone who adopted it. The character designs were worth saving, hehe.

@MyFurryMind: I bet they were! I’m glad that the character has been adopted and not just scrapped with the project.
Even though it’s just a concept at the moment, I do have a lore reason as to why that is the case. The idea is that the remnants of humanity somehow ended in a different galaxy and needed new homes. Rather than go through the long and complete process of terraforming, some groups decided to splice their DNA with that of certain other organisms; allowing them to better adapt to the conditions of the planets they settled on. After that, these ‘post-splicing’ humanoids evolved naturally in a span of thousands of years, with certain traits becoming more prominent during that time. They eventually mostly forget about their Homo sapiens heritage and see other humanoids as completely different species. This obviously causes some conflict, especially since some of them have adopted certain philosophies of the various true original inhabitants of the galaxy(which look and act NOTHING like humans). I also wanted to give tiny hints that the creation of these various humanoid species might have had more sinister intentions than what was originally planned.

It is kind of shame you decided to cancel this project of yours. ‘Forgotten Wild’ looks like it could have been an interesting story!
I’ve actually been trying to develop a serious sci-fi story that features a race of cat-folk. Well, maybe more than one, as this project of mine is still in the conceptual stage. But basically, they’re actually supposed to be a race of genetically altered humans with their DNA and genetic material spliced with that of certain felines.
