The Crushing Hand of Justice and Chaos! Godiver Appears!
The Crushing Hand of Justice and Chaos! Godiver Appears! by @Darrow (Darrow)

Go Go Goooooooodiver!

After a whole night's work I finally wrapped up Godiver's shading and background. I was anxious to finish this to finally get the design off the sketchpad, and it turned out mostly how I wanted.

This is Alastor transformed into Godiver, a hero who fights against the evils of the world, himself included. The initial armor design is based off a combination of Rockman, Rockman X, and Rockman Zero.

This creation and Godiver in general spawned off an already existing idea for a homage to Rockman that I was working on, so I'm not too sure where I'm going with it, but the character designs will at least be used in some form.

Either way, I just like the word Godiver. I imagine if this were an anime, people would get chocolate cravings watching it after awhile, what with all the Japanese VAs yelling out "Godivaaaaa!" over and over again.

Another neat new design! The small amount you can see of his face coupled with the cape almost makes me feel like the top of him is decked out for winter, but I know that's not the case, LOL... But what really struck me about this picture was the background! Whatever effect you did to it looks really awesome, especially around the purple energy coming from his hand (which also looks especially awesome, coincidentally!)--it almost makes it seem ethereal or not real or something!

Nifty noodles as always, D-Dawg!
