Ghent - Willows - Left - Morning
Ghent - Willows - Left - Morning by @Kahvinporo

Once in a while, I challenge myself to paint something every day for a week as practice. My aim is to try different brushes, and techniques or just finish something! I paint these works over my own photography, and my aim is not to make a photorealistic replica of the photo - just something that captures the image. I try to use the least amount of time possible to finish each work, typically it takes me maybe 1,5 hours to finish.

Ghent, from my first solo trip abroad to see my online friends in Belgium. This took me a much longer time to finish than on average, and honestly, I still could continue haha. But you gotta learn to stop at one point.

Willows, after sweating out for a long time with the previous one. I just wanted to do something fun and simple.

Left, I live close to a big lake, and I like going for walks on the ice during winter. And once I just found this little lone fella, and it just... Idk, something compelled me to take a photo.

Morning, one pretty August morning in Lahti where I'd a paid internship.
