Toons - Fish - Sunset - Friend
Toons - Fish - Sunset - Friend by @Kahvinporo

Once in a while, I challenge myself to paint something every day for a week as practice. My aim is to try different brushes, and techniques or just finish something! I paint these works over my own photography, and my aim is not to make a photorealistic replica of the photo - just something that captures the image. I try to use the least amount of time possible to finish each work, typically it takes me maybe 1,5 hours to finish.

Ghent, one of my favourite pieces (and photos) of my friends' cat Toons sleeping on their balcony. He is a goofball.

Fish, a few years ago I went to France to meet one of my closest online friends. And he took me to see Pavillon de Vendome, and there we met really fancy Gucci lady with her son. She asked us to take photo of them, and the kid got upset because he wanted to keep watering these fish (by holding a water hose that went to a fountain).

Sunset, winter sunsets are the prettiest, even if the view from my previous apartment wasn't that glorious.

Friend, one time my friend and I went to a Finnish amusement park Särkänniemi during Halloween - week and there is this really nice aquarium there too.
