My half of an art trade with Digo! This is his character, Serafina, repairing a section of a particle accelerator ... At least, that's what it's supposed to be. Looks more like a Super Mario Bros. warp pipe now that I look at it. But whatever.

Nice shading and pose on the char. :3

And it'd be COOL if Mario warp pipes actually had...you know...sense, to them. ;)

It would explain so much. Thanks for the feedback!

She looks like she just missed an adjustment and sent Luigi to Uzbekistan. Kidding, of course. Nicely drawn and shaded picture this is, I like the sort of backlighting on her. Her tail is inconsistent with the lighting, though - her body and legs particularly would shadow the tail a bit - and her arms are a little skinny for the rest of her body. But it's nice work otherwise. The background is interesting and nicely rendered, and she fits in well with it.

OOPS! Aw man, and I made a mental note to add more shading to her tail, too ... As for the arms ... shrug I guess it's just a matter of taste. I've been told I draw arms too thin before, but they look ok to me. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey ZC,

Love the shading! I think the tail was already mentioned so I won't go into it further. Overall, you captured Sera's look very well in your style. I love it!

Nice imaginative scene too. Is she deep within CERN and security found her? Maybe she's modifying a level 1-1 warp pipe to go directly to 8-4 and bowser found out?

HA! I like the second theory. It's so ridiculous, yet somehow plausible. I'm glad you liked it!

Heh, love the expression on her face. Just something about it....

Oh, and it only seems like a Mario tube 'cause she's finsing it with a wrench. Plumbers use wrenches. Particle accellerator workers use....Well, I dunno, but probably not a wrench. ....Maybe that's the reason for her expression.

Anyways, cool pic.

... Whoah, never thought of that. I guess I'd react the same way if I asked for a digital spectral analyzer and got a WRENCH. Then again, a wrench is a recognizable tool, unlike a digital spectral analyzer, so I guess the issue is academic. But thanks for the feedback!
