Bristol Board is a fancy type of paper that is stiff so it doesn't crinkle and warp when you put markers on it. Markers and pen and ink don't bleed on it and it's very archival. You can also gesso it and it's really good for small paintings or paint excercises (i could never spell that word). It's a pretty well-known surface, you could probably find it at the nearest art supply place, like an AC Moore. It comes in large separate sheets and 9x12 and 11x14 pads. it's good stuff.

Such vibrant colors! I am in awe! Really I am, this is amazing. The color choice and how you made them all blend together without them appearing muddled at all. And of course your anatomy...is beyond superb. Just an awesome job, Ahk :3
