Excerpt from "The Active Voice", Scenes from a Small City, by Lauris Edmond, OBE. There are several of these tablets lining the waterfront in a project called the Wellington Writers Walk. I decided to upload this one since the combination of the evening light and an actual backdrop lends it the perfect maritime frame.
