Orchid - the Vampire Queen
Orchid - the Vampire Queen by @vaia (V. Nicharico)

This is a computer colored version of the original pencil work. I like this version much better than the original. ^.^

Orchid, is not a vampire, she is a Succubus. But in the world of the QoD, that is what female vampires evolve into. shrug

This image (well, the pencil image) was the first ever done of Orchid, and so it is very special to me. This is the Flower of the Underworld, and it shows clearly the Golden Strand (a symbiote which is attached to the back of her neck) wrapping it's way through her hair of its own accord.

This image didn't take me very long, as I scanned the original colored pencil work into my computer and used the color that was there to "paint" it. The Strand, however was added afterward, and I believe it turned out beautifully.
