TCE Enlisted Rank Insignia
TCE Enlisted Rank Insignia by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)

Enlisted rank pins for Tremor Command of Ekim. Being an army, Tremor Command has adopted certain practices to help minimize danger to their soldiers. This has included reducing visible rank insignia for all soldiers and officers under the threat of being targeted by enemy sharpshooters looking for the nearest commander. Previous to the modern set, Tremor Command decided to roll out triangular pins that slowly form a circle as a soldier climbs the ranks. This was done with the intent of confusing the enemy, as officer ranks are shaped similarly and difficult to distinguish at a distance.

The modern insignia includes a disk for two reasons. First, the small pins, as small as a fingernail, often snagged gear carelessly thrown over one shoulder and could easily be pulled off by its sharp edges. It was too easy for soldiers to have rank pins go missing and have to explain to their superiors where they had lost it. Second, the inclusion of the disk made targeting specific ranks even more difficult for enemy soldiers who had learned to aim for the soldiers with more circle on their shoulder.

The modern rank insignia come in two main varieties: the standard silver for regular wear and the low-visibility black for field uniforms. Black pins came about due to the integration of body armor, often colored black or camouflaged, which the silver pins stand out against. These black pins are made of plastic formulated for a reduced reflection of light so that the individual triangles are difficult to make out unless you are standing right in front of the soldier. Both designs have had a long record of success in fooling enemy soldiers and were quickly adopted by other services (Starlight Command actually began with these as their regular rank pins until they adopted their own unique sets) for field uniforms when participating in land operations in hostile territory.

The ranks, which are used in all other services, are as follows:
- E-0: Dhezmā "Trainee/Recruit" Only held by recent recruits. Did not have insignia until the modern set was implemented.
- E-1: Yekbia "Private" Automatic rank granted after basic training.
- E-2: Junghe "Private"
- E-3: Schadh "Private First Class"
- E-4: Ware "Corporal"
- E-5: Fāstia "Sergeant"
- E-6: Fāstia Zān "Second Sergeant"
- E-7: Fāstia Ābhiam "High Sergeant'
- E-8: Fāstia Síyazhbhaif "Sergeant of Command" Highest enlisted rank. Failure to qualify for this rank automatically promotes a High Sergeant to a Specialist.
