Sorry to disappoint you 'Nightmare' but I've had Tanaquil for about 10 years. She used to be a 'Sonic the Hedgehog' character... Went by the name of 'Tanaquil E. Echidna'...
I got the name out a book called 'The Black Unicorn'. I liked it cause I'd never seen a name like that before... so I used it. Hell this was before I was even allowed to use the internet for Pete's sake...
And as for 'stealing' her from Bri... once again, sorry... but no. Yes I admit they look similar, however I didn't see her Tanaquil until like MAYBE 6 months ago... and that's only because I did a search with 'Tanaquil' in the box... But really the only thing I see that even remotely makes them look 'alike' is the hair.
I've been drawing my character like this for nearly 2 and a half years now... and I didn't even know her's existed, If I had I would have gone for something else... but I happen to be fond of purple. shrugs
And the only reason I changed her look to begin with is because she looked to much like a STH character and for the project a couple friends and I were working on we couldn't use already © designs... none of us wanted to have our asses sued...
Nightmare, you really should look closer at Tanaquil. She really IS original. And this image is original too. Don't judge a person from just one image! BTW: Christine, this pic is so cute!
