@fragmented_imagination: I was thinking it could be a small to medium sized droid. The idea of it being used for surveillance is pretty interesting. I was originally thinking of it being a scouting expedition aid droid, but I guess it could just as useful for surveillance.

This was an old drawing I did quite a few years ago.
It was based on an even older LEGO creation I made at some point in early high school. I can’t exactly remember what the original concept was about; but I’m sure that it was some kind of hovering/flying droid that scanned for sound waves, recorded them, and then sent them to whatever computer system was operating them. I definitely had Star Wars on my mind when I first made this thing.

I can see where and what the LEGO pieces are. If it's intended to be a small droid, it would make a good surveillance unit.
