The Celtic Union was filli_noctus' country in Enlightenment 2. A confederation of traditional Celtic territories in Scotland, Ireland and Brittany established at an unspecified date prior to the game proper, it expanded to encompass colonies ranging from Arabia to Madagascar and the Russian Far East. One of filli's more devious plays, the Union leveraged a policy of armed neutrality and indiscriminate trade to worm its way into the Italian war against Norskandia, stealing Arrow_Gamer's victory by claiming Patriotic_Fool as his client and then exploiting P_F's refusal to negotiate peace to invade Italy himself, leading the Union to control most of Europe by the game's end.
