Sorry for two stupid chibi pictures in a row, but I had to do this (had to ok). lemmeexplainlemmeexplain

Let's have a little history lesson on Stefka's name, shall we? It started out as Kafka, tritely enough. I've always loved Franz's work and his last name, so it stuck. After a while though I sort of realized that Kafka was a silly name and changed it to Kefka. Then it turned out that Kefka was a Final Fantasy character and I didn't want a character with an unoriginal name (heaven forbid), so I had to invent a new one. I liked the name Stefan too, but I also liked the harsh, Eastern European-ness of his old name, so voilà - I combined the two and got Stefka.

So, yesterday, while bored out of my skull, I decided to do a dA search for 'Stefka.' Oddly enough, a lot of the pictures that turned up were of girls! Confused, I did a quick google search and it turned out that Stefka is some sort of Bulgarian/Slovakian girl's name. Whoops? This picture popped up in my mind though, so I had to draw it. c:

I'm still keeping his name Stefka, if you're curious. Stefka is an incredibly masculine name so whatever it works.

grin I like the story behind this image. It's interesting to see how a character's name comes about. I had the same problem with a character whose name came to me out of the blue - I later learned I apparently stole it unintentionally - and then found out it was a Chinese girl's name. I decided to keep it, as well.

Love the expressions and you do chibi very well. The backdrop with the jagged outlines works very well here. Nicely drawn, and very amusing.
