Dance of the Water God
Dance of the Water God by @Darrow (Darrow)

Well, I finished this recently and didn't really have anywhere else to upload it...It's nothing really special, I'll probably redo it a lot in the future, but this is the basic idea right now. I've been meaning to draw this character for a while, but didn't expect the design to just come out of nowhere. Ah well!

Sooooo pretty, Da-kun! I love how the pose and even the background give so much motion to this picture. And I must say, I LOVE seeing a water-spirit type character wearing RED. Why do they always wear blue?! Your color choices make this so much more interesting and beautiful to look at. Her eyes seem sad, but wise.

Pwetty, pwetty, pwetty, pwetty, pwetty!!! :D Her eyes are very beautiful, and so sad... The purple eyeshadow is a nice touch! Pretty hair as well, and I love the patterned material around her arms--the pose really shows it off well... And her hand just looks... cute! Her foot looks a little off, but it doesn't detract from how absolutely lovely this picture turned out! Great work as always! :D

Nice, Darrow. She looks world-weary and somehow enchanting. I was going to say she looked like she was dancing, and then observed the title. So obviously the pose carried off pretty well, heheh. Does the symbol on the forehead have a special meaning?

Like how you made the bubbles in the background too, I think if you made bubbles of varying sizes it would look cooler. But then, you don't want the background to be the focus, so...
