tailless on a cold day
tailless on a cold day by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

Three days or so ago, I thought to myself, "I should do a portrait of taillesskangaru." And then, two days ago, taillesskangaru tells me I should draw more. Coincidence?

Another "quick" (two-hour), full-page sketch of Taillesskangaru looking contemplative, finished early this morning. The lack of background is compensated by the torture of shading the coat. I always find Tailless fun to draw, although he's also deceptively hard to get 'right'. He always strikes me as the sort of character who should be dressed dapper; what I managed isn't as fancy as I'd originally envisaged, but I think he still looks classy. As much as I like the mood this evokes, next time I've gotta put him in a happier setting. :p
