Glad you asked.

Since my old work is insanely varied (and I'll get around to uploading it eventually in case I ever have long periods of silence which WILL happen lmao) I decided to just start with my current endeavors.

Elements of Chaos is a Sonic AU I've had in my head for years ever since I was a teenager. It's gotten several re-writes and changes and new stuff added to it and I'm really happy with it but the main issue is, I never wrote it down. I never knew what to do with it because writing is a hard thing for me to do as I've gone undiagnosed and unmedicated for YEARS of my life, but now that I do have meds for my ADHD a lot of previously impossible projects are now possible! So I set out to do something big, something I've never done before and hopefully actually finish this project. It's just me working on it with not really any outside help except from maaaaaybe my partner and some test readers but hyea!

Elements of Chaos is a storybook project, a combo of writing and illustrations that both help paint a picture of this complex world I've created. This Alternate Universe and timeline is built upon the mainline games but features some older, forgotten or even scrapped characters (from the old archie comics for instance) and I've rewritten a number of things. Some characters have received a complete make-over and re-write while other changes are minor, such a change in outcome of a canon event. This story will also feature some personal headcanons and ships so if that's not something you enjoy, I suggest you skip this one. The story is set roughly ten years in the future of the mainline games so all characters are well in their mid-20s and are written/designed to portray as much, they're taller, their vocabulary has changed and in some cases fur might've grayed or hints of wrinkles have been added. I'm stating that because I've had people come for my throat about whether or not they're minors and believe me, I'd rather let SEGA write about a middle aged man beating up teenagers than do it myself, I'm a grown up who grew up with Sonic who's only interested in exploring what it would be like if they tackled new intergalactic threats with aaaaall the experiences of their previous adventures and life experience of just making it through puberty alive lmao.

That being said, I don't think I can share that much on the actual story itself as of yet. Other than that this is just a new threat for Sonic and his old (and new) friends to go up against. Something I based both on The End from Frontiers and Black Doom from Shadow the Hedgehog. Hell, even Mephiles is in it! So yeah, welcome to my fledgeling project. It's PG 16 so don't be weird and uh, enjoy the ride I guess!
