Biography

Hi, I'm Jolyn. I'm 17 and I live in Westport, Connecticut. It's about time I updated this thing! Although, there really isn't anything new I really want to say.

I really enjoy drawing - anthropomorphs primarily, because I like animals much more than humans. If I could I'd become an animal in a heartbeat. My fursona is a sable shetland sheepdog named SilverWing, based off of my sheltie/bald eagle transformer character I once role-played in an IRC chat room. The transformer character is pretty much gone, but the furry one lives on. Mwaha. However, my "spiritual" or true animal soul counterpart is a black basenji, that I've named SilverPaw. She's always drawn as a were.

I love music. It's a huge inspiration to me, and helps me draw when I'm in a slump - and of course, even when I'm not. ~^ Tool is my favorite band, and has been for a long time. They've helped me get through some hard stuff. MJK is the best, you know you worship him. Admit it. >P I also like A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Cradle of Filth, Mindless Self Indulgence, Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Jack Off Jill and Coal Chamber.

I have 6 pets. Yep, 6. I have 3 shetland sheepdogs - 2 sables, the oldest is a female named Ginger, then comes the male, Pepper. The youngest out of our shelties is Smokey, the male blue merle. ^^ They're all so sweet, I love them more than anything. I also have a love for my two mice, one white female named Sugar and a black female named Onyx. And last, but certainly not least - is the newest addition to the family, my pet prairie dog named Sandy. Yep, you heard me. Prairie Dog! She's great! She's also part of a rescue rodent program, so she wasn't stolen away from her family or anything like that. ^^
