@The-Wizard-of-Zaar: Coincidentally enough, I read an article a few weeks ago on the Rise and Fall of the Trad Wife. In a somewhat similar vein, The Atlantic's piece on Southern is probably too hard to plug in a casual comment, but the revelation her own family life rendered her anathema to the very movement she spent her career propping up is one part tragic and four parts karmic.
